Best Copywriting Swipe Files

A swipe file is a collection of copywriting samples. It could be elements of copy (headlines, bullet points, calls to action, guarantees, and so on) or whole copywriting pieces (sales pages, landing pages, emails, ads, and others.)

Ideally you should create your own swipe file. If you don't have one yet, here are some of the best.

It's a work in progress, so keep coming from time to time.

Swiped.co - Definitely my favorite. You'll find classic and modern ads that you can filter by niche and type. It's one of the places with more classic ads (Joe Sugarman, John Caples, Gary Halbert, David Ogilvy, Claude Hopkins, to name a few) If you are looking for the classics, start here. Another thing I like is that it shows when the ad is a control (meaning the ad has been running successfully for a number of years.)

Swipefile.com - They hand-curate some of the best and highest converting pieces of advertising and marketing across the web. If you are looking for something specific, check out this comprehensive and organized site. They have several categories (about pages, before and after, billboards, holiday promos, formulas, packaging, scripts, and many more)

Marketing Examples - A gallery of real-world marketing examples from successful companies created by Harry Dry. Practical marketing examples with Harry's insightful comments. You should also subscribe to his newsletter. He will send you every Monday 3 short examples and 2 copywriting tips.

Social Media Ads
